Postgraduate Diploma in Analytical Science
This programme can be taken from anywhere in New Zealand with our distance delivery which participants say is more personal than much in-person delivery.
Credits
120
Level
8

This programme includes practical experience in a testing or research laboratory.  Often this is the laboratory in which the participant is employed.   However, in other cases, we may arrange a placement for the participant.

This programme includes three modules.

  • SCI701 (30 credits, Level 7)
  • SCI801 (60 credits, Level 8)
  • SCI802 (30 credits, Level 8)

This programme can be taken part-time or full-time.

Each participant selects a specialisation within analytical science, which appears in the award title, such as "Postgraduate Diploma in Analytical Science with a specialisation in instrumental chemistry".  That specialisation can be fairly broad, such as microbiology, or somewhat more narrow, like "food microbiology" or even more narrow like "biosensor food pathogen detection".  For more examples, please click here.
