Basic Microscope Care (Micro-credential)

This programme is primarily for school laboratory professionals who are responsible for care of microscopes. It is also for others who need to care for similar microscopes.

Calibration and Traceability (Micro-credential)

This programme is primarily for laboratory employees who want a better understanding of calibration and standards traceability.

Laboratory Technician Professional Programme

primarily for people who are already employed in a professional, science laboratory and already have a range of key basic skills who want to increase the sophistication of their understanding of the importance and basis of laboratory work

Laboratory Technician Professional Programme with an endorsement in metrology

This programme is primarily for people working in a metrology laboratory who already have key practical skills.

Practical Metrology Programme

This programme is primarily for people who are not yet in a metrology laboratory or people early in their time in a metrology laboratory who have not yet developed key basic skills.

Quality Systems Introduction (Micro-credential)

This programme is primarily for people who have been working in a laboratory with quality systems who want to get a better understanding of why things are done the way they are.

Quality Systems (Micro-credential)

This programme is primarily for laboratory employees who already have a basic understanding of quality systems, but want a deeper understanding.

School Physics Equipment Care (Micro-credential)

This programme is primarily for school laboratory professionals who are responsible for care of physics equipment.

Skills for Key Technical Roles (Micro-credential)

This programme is primarily for laboratory employees who are likely to be candidates for a KTP role within about 18 months.

Solution Calculations and Preparation for Schools (Micro-credential)

This programme is primarily for school laboratory professionals who need to develop skills for preparing chemical solutions typically used in schools.

Using Specialised Literature (Micro-credential)

This programme is primarily for people who already work in a laboratory who would like to develop their skills to find and use materials such as journal articles.
